The links below are designed to help you understand the registration and enrollment process at Vernon Hills High School. Each link below includes information, timelines, copies of current mailings and other documents that will help you make informed decisions regarding your student’s progression through high school.

Summer registration only - Registration materials for the 2016-2017 school year will be mailed the first week of July.  At that time, families will be directed to their PowerSchool parent portal online registration.  If you have not received your registration mailing by Thursday, July 7, 2016, please call Peggy Cope at 847-932- 2030 or Tami Fisher at 847-932-2088. The deadline for completed registration is Thursday, July 21, 2016.   Please click on the appropriate link below for more detailed information.

Current students- This page will assist next year's 10th, 11th and 12th grade students at VHHS understand the course selection and registration process that they will go through to prepare for the next school year. Current students will work closely with their assigned counselor as they transition from year to year.

Current 8th Grade Students- This page will assist “Future Cougars” to understand the course selection and registration process that they will go through to begin their career as a VHHS student. The transition from 8th grade to 9th grade can be a stressful and confusing time. We hope this page will make this important transition as transparent as possible.

Prospective Cougars- This page will assist families who are “school shopping” or who have recently moved into the VHHS attendance area.
