ALL STUDENTS

Summer School registration deadline is approaching – APRIL 25th.  Remember, you are not officially enrolled in any class until all outstanding fees have been paid, registration form has been completed (paper or online), and your Summer School payment has been received.  Some classes are full with waitlists!! Others are close to filling up.  If you have any questions – see your Counselor or Ms. Wenzel in the (L-Z) LST.  (Wenzel 4/22)

FRESHMEN, SOPHOMORES AND SENIORS

Freshmen, Sophomores and Seniors:  First, all of you will have a day off school on Wednesday.  Juniors will be the only students in school on that day.  Second, there will be no access to your lockers on the second floor before you start classes on Thursday at 11:20 a.m.  Testing will still be going on for some of the Juniors. Third, there will be no regular lunch served Thursday during the special Half Day schedule that starts at 11:20 a.m. We expect all of you to eat breakfast/lunch before you come to school.  The exception to that is students on the Free or Reduced lunch program who arrive at school early enough to get boxed lunches from the cafeteria. The boxed lunch will be included in the Free/Reduced program.  If you take the bus to school, the Late Start bus routes will start at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday morning. (Butler 4/22)

JUNIORS

JUNIORS:  During PSAE testing this week, please be aware that we will be collecting your cell phone on Wednesday and Thursday if you bring it with you to your testing room.   If you drive, please leave your phone in your car.  You will not have access to your lockers at the end of testing.  We will ask you to power your phone down and put a post-it note on it with your name, then place it in a box at the front of the testing room.  The box will then be placed in another locked and secure classroom.  The best thing to do, however, is to leave your phone at home or in your car.  This is a requirement from ACT.  (Butler 4/22)

The PE department is offering a morning workout session this Wednesday, April 23rd from 7:00 a.m.- 7:30 a.m. to help improve ACT scores.  All Juniors interested will meet in the Field House @ 6:55 a.m. to meet the PE staff.

There will be options to play/participate in:

1.   Basketball (5 on 5 or 3 v 3 games)

2.   Cardio Room

3.   Water Polo/Open Swim

4.   Weight Room

Afterwards, you will be given a healthy snack and water.  You will be able to shower in the locker room after the workout.  Just make sure you bring everything you need for the showers. If you have any questions, please see Mr. McCaulou or your PE teacher.  (McCaulou  4/22)

SENIORS

We have just received a new scholarship application in the CRC for a VHHS graduating Senior who has been on the  Track team and/or Cross Country team.  Other criteria also apply.  Applications are in the  scholarship bin in the CRC.  (Netland 4/22)
