Attention All Spring Athletes: We will honor the many accomplishments of our Spring Athletic Programs on Tuesday, May 24th. The evening will begin at 7:00 p.m. in the Main Gym with break-out sessions by sport to follow. Hospitality will be served. Please remind your parents. Dress sharp!! Hard to believe it’s the end of the year, this is your final opportunity of the 2015/16 school year to retrieve items from the Lost and Found. The Lost and Found will be cleaned out on Friday MORNING, May 27th – If you lost a cell phone or other electronics, please check with the Security Office. Did you misplace your Chromebook, check with the IT department, all other items would be in the L-Z LST. Please come down BEFORE Friday to check for your lost belongings. (Perkins 5/26)
NURSE’S OFFICE: For all students that have medication in the Nurse’s office, please stop by and pick it up before the end of the school year, June 1st. Any medication that is not picked up will be destroyed. Thank you! (Alshouse 5/26)
Social Studies Trip to Italy and Greece: If you are interested in the Social Studies Student Trip to Italy and Greece in June of 2017, the parent meeting will be in the VHHS IRC on May 25th at 6:30 p.m. If you have any questions, please contact Mr. Clifford at matthew.clifford@d128.org. All LMC books are due Tuesday, May 24th. Please return books on time and pay any outstanding overdue fines. If you need your LMC books for a school reason past that date, come talk to us. Books that are not returned by the end of the school year will be marked lost, and the replacement cost and overdue fines will be added to your Powerschool bill. (Tolva 5/24)

“Do all the good you can in all the ways you can”, and add a student designed sticker to your chromebook! Sophomore Student Council are selling super cool chromebook stickers on Tuesday, May 24th in the foyer. The profits from the sticker sales will be donated to Partners Relief and Development (working to end the “Unknown Genocide” of the Rohingya people) and The Ocean Cleanup Project (working to end pollution in the Pacific Ocean), the Activism Fair’s winning groups’ philanthropies. A big thank you to all the Cougars who donated items for the used school supply collection. The AP Econ students will be delivering 23 boxes of school supplies (including over 76 spirals and 140 binders ) to the Libertyville Township and St. Mary’s Helping Hands program . Way to go Cougars! If you have any extra that you forgot to donate or are waiting until after finals, feel free to drop your donations in the box in the front foyer, LMC or 2201. We will make one more delivery after finals. Thanks! (Dircks 5/27)
Yearbook distribution took place earlier this week. If you missed that opportunity to get a yearbook, and if you have a student Activity Pass, you automatically receive a yearbook as part of the student activity pass purchase. You can now pick up your book by emailing Mr. Anderson at bryan.anderson@d128.org to schedule a time to pick up your book in Room 2406. You will still need to show your student ID to pick up your book. If you do not have an Activity Pass and would like to purchase a yearbook, we have a very limited amount of extra books for sale this year – the extra books will be on sale in the “A-K” LST this week.
